“Our roots are in Saskatchewan – a family enterprise
that grew over the years into an employee-owned business.
This has created a true culture of ownership and commit-ment,
an opportunity for individuals who want to invest
in their careers and a company they believe in,” said Cole.
“We have just over 1,600 employees right now, all operat-ing
out of 16 separate offices in 13 cities in both Canada and
the U.S. Seven hundred are in our Alberta offices in Calgary,
Edmonton and Fort McMurray.”

“The Building group looks after building construction,”
said Cole. “That’s anything from hospitals to high-rises to gro-cery
stores – any kind of commercial building. Our Industrial
group takes care of heavy civil work, mining, power plants
and refineries, while Infrastructure means roads, bridges,
some environmental and flood prevention and wastewater
treatment facilities.”
This unique divisional structure along with a large net-work
of locations and resources makes Graham highly com-petitive
across the key buildings, industrial and infrastructure
construction sectors. Basically, if it can be built, Graham has
the capabilities to make it happen.
“We’ve developed our company in a fashion that our people
have worked across these various groups to ensure a certain
amount of expertise no matter the project. If we’re pouring
concrete in a building, that’s the same product basically as in
an infrastructure project. It’s a benefit for our employees as
