Update to the Roadbuilder
Safety Training System Program
ARHCA is updating the Roadbuilder Safety Training
System (RSTS) and is moving the program to the
ARHCA website instead of the Alberta Construction
Safety Association website. The project will have two phases
with final completion in November 2021.
Why this decision was made
Currently, the RSTS program runs using Adobe Flash Player
technology. As of Dec. 31, 2020, Flash Player will reach End of
Life and will no longer be supported on any internet platform.
Therefore, the ARHCA Board and Safety Committee
decided to revamp, upgrade and move access to the RSTS
program in phases.
• Phase 1: As of December 2020, the RSTS program
in its current form will be available on the platform
RapidLMS. ARHCA members will be able to log in via
the ARHCA website.
• Phase 2: As of November 2021, ARHCA members will
be able to access a new and improved RSTS program,
complete with additional modules, upgraded graphics
and enhanced usability.
What does this mean for you?
Starting late-December, members looking to take the
RSTS program will go through the ARHCA website at
www.arhca.ab.ca. Keep an eye on the site for details! n
